planning and evaluating human service programs in North Carolina. She carries a total of 20 years of experience working
in a Social Work capacity, initially providing case management and education in public health and mental health settings and
later working to develop and reform service systems through community development, quality management, system assessment and
planning responses.
As Quality Management Director for The Durham Center (Durham County Mental Health Local Management

"Much
of my work over the past decade has been in program evaluation and planning. I have a passion for the use of data in decision
making - in other words, planning decisions should be grounded in information that can then be measured and reassessed over
time. This requires intentional listening, studying the information at hand and asking questions before you sit at the table
to begin planning."

Focus on Faith Communities With a master's
degree in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill, Beth also has specialized training in congregational development, conflict management,
emotional intelligence, Anglican polity and theological studies in Old and New Testaments.
Beginning
in 2002, Beth served as the Welcome Minister for The Prince of Peace Episcopal Church in Apex, NC during a time just
after the congregation moved into a new worship space and the average Sunday attendance increased three-fold. As a leader
in this congregation she facilitated the implementation of new membership software and development of ministries to welcome
and engage individuals into the life and activities of the parish. Beth has led group discernment processes
to design and implement ministries for pastoral care, small groups, reaching out and caring for new members, middle and senior
high youth ministries and internal communications. She has worked at the diocesan and local congregational level facilitating
planning and ministry review processes, leading retreats and leadership seminars and assisting with overall congregational
development.
"As I began a personal discernment of vocation and ministry,
feeling drawn to serve God in the church, I pursued theological studies and possible ordination. However, through
close examination and prayer, I discovered a merging of my past experience with my current path in serving the church as a
lay person, through consulting, training, and coaching. GTM Evaluation & Planning, Inc. has created for me a balance
in Christian service where the passions of my life, my profession and vocation, my talents and skills are all given
for the purpose of ministry - in dedication to the church and the community." ~ Beth Bordeaux
